My other fear is that I still don’t want to leave for my country. I’m afraid to leave. I just want to study in America and have a good future for myself and my family.
My immigration story is about me and my father who emigrated to the United States in 2019 because he wanted to look for a better future for me because in my country Honduras was very difficult for my study so I decided to come to America where I did not have a good time when I came here but now I am fighting for to fulfill my dreams.
It [immigration] affects us because sometimes it is difficult for us because we have to fight to have legal status and it is difficult because we have many obligations.
The happiest moment of my life was when my sister and I knew that we were going to have another sister.Iit was very nice because my sister was already 9 years old and I was 14 years old and I yearned to have a little sister.
The saddest moment for me was when I had to leave my mother and my two little sisters and my grandparents in Honduras. I knew I was leaving them and I didn’t know until when I was going to speak to them again.
The most influential person in my life is my dad because he takes care of me and he supports me with my study. He is a support for me.
Now what I am most afraid of are two things.one is from my family in Honduras I do not want anything bad to happen to them because unfortunately in my country it is dangerous and it is a country of low economic resources and I do not want my family to get sick from COVID 19 or another disease.My other fear is that I still don’t want to leave for my country. I’m afraid to leave. I just want to study in America and have a good future for myself and my family.
I want people to know that I am a person who loves to listen to my ideas and share them with other people. I like to help in things that can give benefits to other people and want to learn to do good things and I am very grateful when a person teaches me to learn good things.
I want to share two things that my legal situation limits me is I can not have a job because I don’t have a work permit and the other thing is I cannot go to my country to visit my family because I don’t have a Visa to travel.
