“Also as i don’t have any family here is hard when we are in a holiday we are lonely”
When i was 7 years old we had some problems in Colombia and my parents thought that the best thing to do is to come to the United States.
[Immigration has affected my family and/or friends because] That there is less help from the governor and there is actually less opportunities.
[Something in Boston/the U.S. that felt strange to me when I first arrived was] That everyone has been kind and that in Colombia the cars never stop for you to pass, but here yes.
[Right now, what feels hard is] To have all of my culture like 11,000 miles away. Also as i don’t have any family here is hard when we are in a holiday we are lonely
[What inspires me to keep going when things are hard is] To think that that could help me to be better in the future
[I want people to know or understand] That everyone is not what they think they are.
