First my aunt told my mom to introduce herself and they gave us the visa and we came here by plane. We stayed at a hotel. Then our aunt picked us up and then we get here and that was it.
Immigration affected my family and friends because they get separated from each other.
Something in the United States that felt strange to me when I came here was the language and how they act like the American people is so kind with each other because in Colombia i don’t felt like they were so respectful.
Something that I remember from Colombia is my friends and one fruit that I loved in Colombia is the zapote, and the granadilla.
Something that feels hard to me right now is not going to oher place for this disease.
My family inspires me to keep going when things is hard like one time people was said to me bad things and i don’t listen to them.
